  • Every candidate who is going to apply for JUET 2018 should verify the information related to eligibility criteria:
  • Eligibility criteria for Masters Degree (excluding PhD & M.Phil), B.Lib.I.Sc, Bachelor Degree (LLB) and B.P.Ed: Passed graduation with science, Arts, commerce or Business administration
  • Candidates should have completed 2 years of degree course by following the 10+2+2 or 10+1+3 pattern. Besides, they should have completed one year of duration bridge course comprising Part III of B.Sc./ BA/B.Com
  • Candidates should have completed 3 years of professional degree course along with 40% of marks (36% of marks for SC/ST category candidates)
  • Candidates who do not belong to territorial of the University of Jammu but obtained 60% of marks B.Sc./ BA/B.Com/BCA/BBA

  • There shall be two question papers, one for PG and the other for UG Courses Comprising of 150 Objective Type Questions of one mark each and the duration for the entrance test shall be 2½ hours. The contents of the paper and weightage shall be:
  • General English - 40 questions
  • General Knowledge - 40 questions
  • Reasoning - 40 questions
  • Numerical Ability - 30 questions
  • For every wrong answer, there shall be negative marking of 0.25 marks. The candidate securing less than 30% marks for general category and 25% for SC/ST category shall not be eligible for admission. The following weightage shall be given to the candidates:
  • Academic Merit - 75%
  • Entrance Test - 25%
  • There shall be two question papers for JUET-2018, one for the candidate appearing after 12th class and other for the candidates appearing after graduation
  • The level of numerical ability shall be of 10th standard only for both the question papers
  • The level of test for other components shall be of 12th standard in case of candidate appearing after 12th class and graduation standard for the candidates appearing after graduation
