syllabus

CUSAT CAT 2020 will be conducted in various cities and the test centres will be allotted to candidates on the basis of choices they will enter that the time of filling the application form. Candidates can check the test centres of CUSAT CAT 2020 in the table below.The examination will contain 250 objective type multiple choice questions based on class 12 syllabus.Out of these 250 questions,125 will be from Mathematics,75 from Physics and 50 from Chemistry.  The examination will be held for 3 hours.The medium of the question paper is in the English language.  There will be a set of questions to be asked about the various topics mentioned in each part of the syllabus.Questions will be prepared according to the syllabus and equal weight will be given to all the topics.Each question will be awarded 3 marks for the correct answer and for every wrong answer, 1 mark will be deducted.There will be no deduction for unanswered questions.Note: Candidates applying for the B.Tech programme will have to score a minimum of 10 marks in each subject to qualify for the ranking list. However, this requirement will not be applicable for those who come under the Kerala Scheduled Caste and Kerala Scheduled Tribe communities.
